Westoak Continental starts the winning year for Westoak Hanoverian Stud.
Darren and Westoak Continental attended their first ever affiliated competition today 3rd April 2011. Connie who is four, won the Affiliated Prelim dressage class first time out. Westoak Continental is by Classic Juan and out of our State Premium Mare by Watzmann. Well done to Darren, a fantastic start to the season.
This win was closely followed by a trip to Sheepgate for Westoak Continental and Darren, where they achieved 75% and a third place in the 4 year old class.
Westoak Mari starts collecting dressage points. At only her second show Westoak Mari scored 67% and was placed second and a third in her two classes. Well done to her rider Kate.
Emma and Westoak Merlot have been busy at Step by Step in West Sussex.
On the 30th June they scored 62.89% in the Ad. Medium comig second.
Then on the 7th July they scored 63.24% again in the Ad. Medium closely followed by 63.42% in the pyo FEI. See 14th July Horse and Hound results sections.
Westoak Merlot is by Medoc out of one of our foundation mares.
Westoak Rmolly continues the year with two wins at the same show.
She qualified for the open Nov to music and got 66.94%. In the open Novice 35 she got 61.54%. Well done to Tina and Westoak Rmolly.
Cleopatra of Westoak at Ashover show, she is the bay at the top of the photograph. The showing team produced Cleopatra for the show, then it rained! She was shown as a foal but this was her first outing as a yearling and alone. Her trot up was ground covering and she enjoyed herself, loading and travelling like a much older horse. The class was for youngstock but she was competing against three year olds. A bonus was the rosette and prize money.
Chianti Classico of Westoak scores 8.39 at the Futurity at Arena UK, gaining a Higher Premium. He is by Classic Juan out of a Don Bosco mare.
Westoak Dienstgeheimnis scores 71% at Field house.
Westoak Rmolly and Tina qualify for the Novice dressage to music with a score of 66.94% June 2011.Tina also won the open Novice 35 test. Well done to Tina and Westoak Rmolly a great partnership.
May sees Westoak youngsters out and about on the dressage circuit
Westoak Dienstgeheimnis ridden by Kathryn Barnard-Shepphard wins THREE times in May. Well done to Kate and her team for hitting the jackpot twice; once by winning two dressage classes at the same show! He then went on to win at his very next dressage competition.
Westoak Eclaire at her first dressage competition completes a walk and trot test with over 70% and then goes into her first Prelim to achieve 73% and wins the class.
Westoak Mars
Continues to star in the Manor Grange Stud results pages on the 27th October 2010 he won the Prelim 15 with a score of 67.82%.
Westoak Rmolly goes from strength to strength with a 65% in a Novice 24 test.
In late October Molly won both open Novice sections at Weston Lawns 64.29% in Nov 27 and 64.17% in Nov 28. She now has 8 BD points after only 3 tests.
This was followed by a trip to Doncaster for the riding club qualifiers. Tina and Westoak Rmolly qualified for the team with a 74%
prelim and a 67.5% Nov test at the club competition, second in both competitions to very experienced horses!

Elaine of Westoak is the star of the show horses, not only completing her Mare Performance test, her in hand class but also winning the Three Year Old Materiale class. The Woodlander Trophy is shown on our home page. She just got better and better as the show went on. Well done to Nathan Aston for riding her.

Merri of Westoak and Magic of Westoak successfully complete their Stud Book Inspection at the BHHS annual show at Addington. Well done to Tonia and Sophie.

The BEF Futurity season starts Chianti Classico of Westoak scores a First Premium at Arena UK with 8.39. Well done to the showing team.
Westoak is very proud of the youngstockand their achievements.
Westoak Eclaire came 3rd at the BHHS dressage competition with 67.6%.
Westoak Rmolly won her Novice test with 70% at Elland lodge.
Westoak Continental scored 69% as a 4 year old in a prelim.
Westoak Winston is starting his jumping career.

Westoak Rmolly wins two classes and qualifies in the open novice to Music. Well done Tina and Westoak Rmolly. Einmalig of Westoak sold to Lisa in Cheshire.
The final foal of the year. Wijenna (Weltmeyer) produces a black colt foal by Elroon called Eureka of Westoak.
Elnoor of Westoak travelled to her new home with to Frankie.
Edelstein of Westoak and his dam St Pr Ladylike were shown at Bramham horse trials in the eventer class. No rosettes but they and the showing team had a great day out at the show.

Westoak Dienstgeheimnis wins two classes at Arena UK well done to Kate. Then goes on to win again at his next show. Three first in May, what next? Westoak Winston competes at Arena UK. Westoak Continental competes at Sheepgate with Darren. Westoak Rmolly continues to appear in the results pages of the Horse and Hound. Westoak Ricki Roxane and Edward of Westoak have been sold to Peterborough. Mares start to return from stud in foal for 2012.

Another new mare joins the stud Fareeda bu Fuerstenreich out of a Lancier dam. Deacon Blue of Westoak has travelled to his new home in Wales with Lynne and Dave.

Westoak Rmolly and Tina have come third in a dressage competition at Vale View with 60.38% well done. Westoak Magic travels to her new home in Newmarket, to start her preparation for a career in eventing. New broodmare Argent arrives at Westoak Hanoverian Stud. She has Cor de la Bryere and Argentan bloodlines and will be off to stud soon.

Classic Prada Joins the Stud, by Classic Juan and out of a Benz mare. Eldorado of Westoak travelled to his new home in Northamptonshire.
We have weaned all but the youngest two foals. Just starting to get ready for this years foaling season.
Westoak Mari victory at her first show. Westoak Mari, a five year old by Medoc out of Adelaide ( Airport), wins at her first show. She was ridden to victory by her owner Kathryn Barnard-Sheppard in the Preliminary Open class with a score of 66.96%.
The Westoak Showing team have been very busy this summer with the Futurity, four of them, the Regional foal show and grading an annual event at Westoak Hanoverian stud and the county shows.

Monty of Westoak gains a First Premium at Solihull, with 8.21.
Carsten of Westoak wins an Elite Premium at Arena UK, with the top score of the day 9.12.
Eldorado of Westoak wins a First Premium at Arena UK, with 8.34.
Cleopatra of Westoak wins a Higher First Premium at Solihull, with 8.68.
County show
Westoak Magic won the youngstock class at Ashover show. Well done to the Westoak showing team, who returned home with a enormous silver memorial trophy, two huge rosettes and prize money too!
The Oliver Kirk Memorial trophy is for the over 14.2hh youngsters at the show.

Westoak Winston
Louise and Westoak Winston came second in their first ever outing, on the 26th June. They completed a Prelim 7 with a score of 66%. Well done.
Bramham horse trials
Eldorado of Westoak competed at the Bramham horse trials on 3rd June, in the event horse breeding and youngstock class. He was placed fourth, out of a strong field of eleven, by judges Jane Holderness Roddam and Val Gingell. Eldorado of Westoak is by Elroon, his dam is Wonalulu.

Westoak Magic competed at the BHHS annual show 2009. She was presented in the yearling filly class. Her half sister, also by Medoc, Westoak Merri was competing in the same class.
The showing team at Moorgreen
Congratulations to Westoak Count Charlie Fox on winning the Moorgreen county show yearling sporthorse class, on August Bank Holiday Monday. Westoak Magic was second in the same class.
Elnoor of Westoak achieved a first premium at the Futurity event at the Heart of England Show. She had already competed in the Bramham event youngstock class earlier in the year so she took it all in her stride.
Melbourne of Westoak received a second premium at the same event.
Westoak Magic competed at the Ashover show. She came third in an under three year old youngstock class. We are delighted as she is only a yearling. Westoak Magic was up against older horses and this was her first show.
Westoak Daisy and her Dam Elite Wild Flower competed at the Warmblood Breeders Show at Hartpury. Elite Wild Flower came third in the Brood mare class.
The Showing team attended the last few county shows. Then the British Hanoverian Horse Society Annual show at Addington on the 26th and 27th September.
Two yearlings Westoak Magic and Westoak Merri were competing in the yearling class.
St.Pr.St. Wannessa had a 4 year old successfully performance tested.
Welcome had her 5 year old daughter become an Elite mare. Well done to Ludmilla.
Two yearlings Willis of Westoak and Barbie of Westoak attended the Brightwells Festival of the Horse Show and Sale at the Malvern Showground on 8th September 2009. Barbie of Westoak came second in her class.
The Westoak prefixed horses are also doing well in the dressage arena. Look out for Westoak Merlot, Westoak Mork, Westoak Mars, Westoak Ricki Roxane and Westoak Solero.
Westoak Mork is also competing in BSJA events.
Westoak Wiesse has also been eventing.
Westoak Eli has been on the county show circuit including winning the Leicester County Show two year old class.
Westoak Rmolly has just completed her grading and performance testing with the Warmblood breeders Society at Hartpury.
Westoak Milly has just moved to a new home and is to start her dressage career.
Westoak Eclaire has just been backed and has a new home ready to start her new career in the spring.
