Old News from 2010
Westoak Continental starts the winning year for Westoak Hanoverian Stud.
Darren and Westoak Continental attended their first ever affiliated competition today 3rd April 2011. Connie who is four, won the Affiliated Prelim dressage class first time out. Westoak Continental is by Classic Juan and out of our State Premium Mare by Watzmann. Well done to Darren, a fantastic start to the season.
This win was closely followed by a trip to Sheepgate for Westoak Continental and Darren, where they achieved 75% and a third place in the 4 year old class.
In the first part of July Westoak Eclaire came third in the British Hanoverian Horse Society's dressage competition with a score of 67.6%. Ridden by Nathan she showed nice paces and took it all in her stride. She was competing in the 5 year old class which was won by the BWBS stallion Wavavoom ridden by Maria Eilberg with a score of 98.4%.
Westoak Rmolly won her Novice test with 70% at Elland Lodge. Tina and Rmolly are going from strength to strength.
This was closely followed by a phone call from Darren telling us that Westoak Continental had just scored 69% in her preliminary test not bad for a four year old.
Westoak Winston was also out doing alittle jumping.

November 2010
Westoak Eclaire wins again, Hazel rode Westoak Eclaire to Prelimin test success on 24th November, with a massive 72%. She has been out twice and won in both competitions. Westoak Rmolly has been winning again, check our show pages. 'Molly' won both open Novice sections at Weston Lawns. 64.29% in Nov 27 and 64.17% in Nov 28. She now has 8 points after only 3 tests
Westoak Mars has also been competing at Manor Farm dressage, gaining a score of 67.82% to win the Prelim. class.

BEF and BE show at Osberton. Eldorado of Westoak 5th and Carsten of Westoak 6th in the yougstock classes and Wonalulu 6th in the broodmare class. The wet westher showing team had a really tough time. Our lorry left the showground on the first day under it's own steam. On Saturday it had to be towed on and off! We are still drying out.
September 2010
BHHS Annual show at Addington Westoak Eclaire and Westoak Continental pass their performance tests. Westoak Eclaire wins the 4 year old Dressage test. Westoak Merlot wins the Advanced Medium and the Prix St. Georges competitions.
Cleopatra of Westoak and Pyalotta were also competing.
Carsten of Westoak has qualified for the Futurity Eventing finals at Osberton on 2nd October 2010.
Eldorado of Westoak will be showing at the Osberton BEF show on 30th October 2010.
Westoak Winston scores 69.5% at Vale View. Well done to Louise.
Westoak Malbec is sold, congratulations to Gloria on her purchase. Deacon Blue of Westoak is sold.
Futurity final scores Carsten of Westoak is third in the eventing foal section of the Futurity for 2010. By Classic Juan out of a Select stud book mare Louise by Londonderry. He is also the 7th highest foal over all disciplines at the Futurity for 2010.
Westoak Rmolly achieved her first dressage point, at her very first affiliated show. (Photograph to follow). Tina and Westoak Rmolly were second in the Prelim open with 65.8%. In the Novice open the pair were third with 63.5%. Well done. See Horse and Hound results page 16th September 2010.
August 2010
The showing team competed at the British Warmblood Show at Hartpury College on Bank holiday Monday. They showed St Pr Boheme and her foal Deacon Blue. Deacon Blue won his foal class and was awarded a Premium foal rosette, as well as winning the class. St Pr Boheme came third in the broodmare class. A very sucessful day.
Westoak Mari Claims victory at her first outing. Westoak Mari competed in the Preliminary test at Field House equestrian centre scoring 66.96% at her first ever show. See our showing pages for photographs.
Westoak Magic Wins the youngstock class for over 14.2hh at Ashover show. Thanks to the showing team Westoak Magic brought home the Oliver Kirk memorial trophy and two huge rosettes. See show news for photographs.

Eldorado of Westoak gains a First Premium at the Futurity, Arena UK.
Cleopatra of Westoak gains a higher first premium at the Futurity, Solihul, with a 9 for attitude for eventing.

Congratulations to Westoak Winston for a fanastic first dressage test on Saturday 26th June. Louise and Westoak Winston completed a Prelim 7 coming second with a score of 66%.
Westoak Dienstgeheimnis came second at Field house on 24th June 2010 in the Novice Qualifier.
Wilma foaled a chestnut filly by Elroon.
Eldorado of Westoak 4th at Bramham. Wonalulu and her foal travelled to Bramham horse trials on 3rd June. See our showing pages.

Westoak Horses were winners at the BHHS Annual show at Addington Manor Equestrian centre at the weekend.
