Eureka of Westoak competes at the National Winter Championships at Hartpury with Dani riding, owner Kim.
Sold and off to be a dressage horse, Carmen of Westoak by Classic Juan out of Elite Boheme. Congratulations to Emma for buying her. Three weeks under saddle in the photograph. She has gone on to compete at British Dressage and has been producing good scores, fingers crossed for the regionals.

Ferguson of Westoak came 4th at the Ryedale show in the hunter class, as his owner Katrina says the judge loved him, but he was really a sports horse and not a hunter! Well done.
Westoak Willis and Eureka of Westoak are qualified for the regionals BD. Mabel of Westoak has qualified for the Area Festival. Congratulations to their owners for all their hard work.

Smiles all round today as Mabel of Westoak wins her prelim test with just under 68%, at her first BD competition. Lisa and Mabel went on to try their first novice test and came second with 67%. Congratulations to their grooming team!
Westoak Willis out winning again with Katie Lee. He has had an impressive run of wins at the start of the season.
Cleopatra of Westoak at the Futurity Final at Osberton
The top 11 eventing Futurity horses in the UK were invited to Osberton Horse trials Eventing Final.
Cleopatra of Westoak a three year old by Classic Juan was second. She had already come fourth in the eventing in-hand class earlier in the day.The only Hanoverian in the eventing classes. The show team were out in action as the rain came down for the class. She was the top three year old eventing mare in the Futurity.
She has also appeared in the British Breeder magazine for October 2013, page 23.
Cleopatra of Westoak has already qualified for the BEF Futurity Bridge project. She is the highest mare in the three year old eventing section. Backed and will be prepared in the spring for the BHHS mare performance test.
Westoak Barbie Won her class with 69%.

Qualifies for the winter regionals novice music competition.
Westoak Midsommer
Completed his first proper competition in August which was a BD Affiliated at Speedgate. He won prelim 15 with 70.43% and prelim 19 with 71.36%. Next stop is Hickstead on 14th Sepember 2013. Congratulations to Gemma.
Cleopatra of Westoak Became the top three year old eventing mare at the Futurity, she was third overall out of all three year old eventers. She also tops the three year old eventers at the Futurity, Keysoe day 2. She scored 8.81 overall but 9.17 for her loose jumping. By Classic Juan out of Pyalotta by Piquet. She has also graded with the British Hanoverian Horse Society at the regional show in August.
Westoak Mabel
Was placed third in her first ever Prelim competition, well done Lisa. Is now out competing BD.
Westoak Willis
Competed at Trailblazers with Katie Lee. He scored 72% and came 9th.
Westoak Barbie
Scored 7.1 at Keysoe in the 5 year old young horse class. She also scored 67% and a second place at Fieldhouse, in her first Novice test.
Westoak Mari
Continues her season with a 71%.

Wins the BHHS regional foal show and qualifies for the Annual show.
The Westoak showing team have started the Futurity series for 2013. We were delayed by the heat! It was too hot to travel to Hartpury, so Lima and her foal will now go to Solihull later in the year. Two mares and foals set off for Arena Uk on 1st August, they were delayed by roadworks and the A1 closure due to an accident. The temperature was also warming up. Caramac scored a 9.1 for his dressage type, 9.75 and 8.8 from the vet, we were delighted. Fangio scored 16/20 for his athleticism and 8.8 from the vet. Both enjoyed the pre-show bath and plaiting session. They loaded, unloaded and travelled very well. The evaluators saying they were very well handled foals, just what we like to hear.

Caramac of Westoak
Chestnut colt foal, born 10th April 2013. By Classic Juan out of Dellevenezie (Don Bosco).
Lovely kind, friendly foal. He was 11.1hh at birth so will make over 17hh.
Eligible for full pink papers, passport with the BHHS and branding.
Brothers all good competition types.

Westoak Willis and Katie Lee win. Katie and Willis won the prelim with 70%. A great start to the dressage season.
Westoak Elaine competes at Fenning Farm.
Elaine scores 63% in her prelim and comes 7th. Her first competition of the year.
Florida of Westoak travelled to her new home near York. By Flammengold out of Alabama. She was born in 2012.
2013 foaling has started.
We are expecting six foals, by Elroon, Flammengold and Classic Juan. See the table below.
Lima was first with her colt foal Gordon of Westoak, by Galant de Semilly out of our Lauro mare Lima.
He is dark bay but looks like he will go grey.

Some facts from the Futurity 2012.
Westoak Hanoverian Stud had the highest placed Classic Juan foal, the highest placed Flammengold foal, the highest placed Elroon foal and the highest placed Glucksfall foal, for any venue in 2012.
Westoak Hanoverian Stud also have the 7th highest placed eventing broodmare of any year.

Westoak Wakeeta travelled to her new home at White House Stud. Wakeeta is by Woiwode out of Aventina (Archipel).
Westoak Barbie started her young horse campaign for 2013 at Field house, first time out competing (ever) She scored 69% in the Prelim. Barbie is by Being Bling out of Louise our Londonderry mare.
Well done to Mel her owner and Clair her rider.
Emma and Westoak Merlot take to the London stage.
Westoak Merlot is attended the Horse Live event in London as a model. By Medoc Merlot was out of Deika (Duft). He an Emma starred in several performances at the Excell centre in London in 2012.

Our final regional show of the year occured at the end of October for the later born foals.
BHHS Annual Show 2012 Elite status and Top Jumper bred by Westoak Stud
Elite status for Classic Continental of Westoak
Classic Continental of Westoak is our first Elite mare bred by the stud. She competed at the British Hanoverian Horse Society Annual show at Moulton College in September. She had already passed her mare performance test with Elite marks for jumping and went onto gain a 1A in the showing class from the German judges. She is now an Elite candidatemare until she has her first foal when she will have Elite status. The Elite status is the English equivalent of the German Stae Premium mare.
Owned by Nikki O'Horo and Darren Barrett, she had already competed in the regional dressage championships and the Hickstead Young Horse classes this year. Nikki said 'Connie will now have a well earned rest before she starts competing again'. Both Nikki and Darren are delighted with her new status.

Elizabeth of Westoak top jumper at the BHHS Annual show
Elizabeth of Westoak claimed Elite marks for her jumping ability at the BHHS Annual Show 2012. She was the top jumping horse of the show with a mark of 8.5. She was brought over from Ireland especially for the show by her owners Caroline and Matt. Sold by Westoak Hanoverian Stud as a foal, it was lovely to see her all grown up. Well done to Lizzie and her owners and rider. By Elroon out of our mare Adelaide (Airport).
Futurity Results from Keysoe
Three foals travelled to College Equestrian Centre at Keysoe for the Futurity. Earl of Westoak was the third highest place Eventing foal of the day with 8.59 and a Higher First Premium. Flame of Westoak also gained a Higher First Premium as a dressage foal. Emerald of Westoak scored a First Premium with an 8.75 form the vet. It was exciting to see Alabama's grandchild Woodlander Sir Gorgeous gain a 9.12. He is by Woodlander Santana who is Alabama's son.
The BHHS regional show 2012
Cinderella of Westoak won the foal class with a score of 8.6. Cinderella is by Classic Juan out of Louise our Londonderry mare. Cinderella has scored the highest score at a regional foal show of any Westoak foal, we are delighted with the result. Altogether 7 of our foals qualififed to go to the Annual show.
Mabel of Westoak graded into the main Stud book, as did Lima our new broodmare.
Futurity results
Ferdy of Westoak scored a Higher first Premium with a score of 8.82 for dressage, he was the highest placed dressage horse of the day of all ages, scoring two yellow stars!!!! He had straight 9's from the vet and for his walk. It was a long way to Richmond for his first trip out, but he loved all the attention.
Florida of Westoak scored a Higher First Premium too at Richmond with 8.55, for dressage. We are delighted with the result. She is by Flammengold out of Alabama (Alabaster).
Carmen of Westoak competed at the Futurity at Hartpury. She achieved a Higher First Premium of 8.86, the Veterinary surgeons score was straight 9's. Carmen was the fourth highest competitor of the
day. She was also the second highest eventer of the day, of all ages. Carmen is by Classic Juan and out of St Pr Boheme (Bretone). Congratulations to the show team, their first outing to the Futurity
this year.
Westoak Continental competed at the Hickstead young horse finals on 17th August 2012.
Well done Westoak Continental -Qualified for the Hickstead Final in July 2012
Confirmation today that Westoak Continental has qualified for the finals of the Hickstead young horse classes.
She won her class today with 67% beating strong competition. This ensured she has a place in the Final.
Nikki O'Horo and Darren Barrett who own Westoak Continental are delighted.
Connie is a five year old bred by Westoak Hanoverian Stud, by Classic Juan out of our own St Pr Wannessa. Darren Barrett has ridden the mare throughout her competition career. At Sheepgate over the Bank Holiday weekend Westoak Continental won four Prelim classes with some scores in the 70%'s, including achieving some 9's as well!
She has also qualified for the summer regionals.

Addington 2011 proved to be an outstanding year for the stud.
Two of the three year old horses we bred Merri of Westoak and Magic of Westoak came to the show with their owners for the Studbook Inspection. It was lovely to see them all grown up and starting their ridden careers.
We entered Elaine of Westoak and Classic Prada for the Performance test, in-hand class and the Materiale. Both three year olds were already Studbook inspected.
Elaine of Westoak just got better and better as the show went on and won the three year old Materiale class. See picture below, the last name on the cup being Woodlander Wavavoom! The judges commented on Elaine of Westoak that she was calm - she just soaked up the atmosphere and nothing phased her.

Westoak Rmolly
Tina and Westoak Rmolly competed at the Addington regionals on the 16th February 2012. They completed the novice freestyle test with 65.35%. Tina has owned Molly since she was a foal. Although she had never backed and brought on a youngster from scratch before, and intended to send Molly to a professional yard to be backed, Tina has brought her on by herself with the support of her friends and trainer Molly has gone from strength to strength. Westoak Rmolly is by Parsons Rasputin out of our mare Aventina (Archipel). Molly loves her work and is keen to please. Well done to Tina and Molly.
