Work Experience

Westoak Hanoverian Stud regularly provides work placements for Students from Colleges, schools and local training providers. If you are seeking work experience with Broodmares and foals, showing preparation or general yardwork please get in touch early as vacancies are limited.

We are now booking work experience placements for 2012. July seems to be a popular month and we have no vacancies left for the start of July. Also January is now full. Most other months will still have placements left. Please contact us to book your place.

We must also thank Laura, who completed her one week work experience with us in January 2012. Laura is studying at Derby College for a level 3 qualification. Laura wanted  riding placement so helped us school our four year old Barbie of Westoak, as well as the usual yard duties and foal handling. Thanks Laura and good luck with your course.
